The Toronto Writing Project Spring Institute is an opportunity for educators, activists, and researchers to learn with and from one another about writing, equity, and social justice.
This year, we are excited to welcome Vivian Vasquez, Professor of Education at American University as our keynote speaker and guest facilitator. Dr. Vasquez has worked in the field of education for over 30 years, including 14 years spent teaching public school in Mississauga, Ontario. Her research interests are primarily in critical literacy, early literacy and teacher education. Learn more at http://www.vivianvasquez.com/.
The TWP Spring Institute is made possible by the generous support of the Ruth and Alexander Dworkin Tolerance Fund, which was established to promote collaborations and professional learning between the Centre and local teachers and schools. The Institute will be held at the OISE Library from 9:00 am until 4 pm. Lunch will be included.
Registration by invitation only.
