Vivian Vasquez
In 2018, we were excited to welcome Vivian Vasquez, Professor of Education at American University, as our keynote speaker and facilitator. Dr. Vasquez has worked in the field of education for over 30 years, including 14 years spent teaching public school in Mississauga, Ontario. Her research interests are primarily in critical literacy, early literacy and teacher education. Dr. Vasquez led two keynote sessions, “Creating Spaces for Critical Literacies” and “Steps in the Dance of Critical Literacy.”
